Isabel was born in Melbourne, Australia. Her dad is Australian and her mother Swiss. The family spent a lot of time living in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru an Australian mining town, and Cairns, an Australian mining town. She attended school with Nina and children from different cultures, including First Nations. Isabel resides in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel had been involved in drama since her school days. Then she studied drama at Queensland University of Technology (Victorian College of Arts) as well as, most recently, she was studying Perdekamp's Emotional Technique PEM. Before 2002, she never ever auditioned. She auditioned for the part of Home and Away in 1988. They felt she was not the best fit for this role. They were so impressed, they came up with a new character Tasha. In the course of three years, she was awarded the Logie Award as a new TV talent in her character. In 2008, Isabel moved from Los Angeles to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough role came from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. In the years since, she has appeared in several US as well as Australian films and has won numerous awards. Isabel was recently seen as Bosh in Bosh & Rockit Ocean Boy the film which is rapidly becoming an Australian iconic. Isabel also starred in the soon to be released film Lunacy. Isabel recently wrapped Sons of Summer. In pre-production, she will play Marie Curie as part of Radiant. The film will be written and directed by award-winning Annika Glc. Isabel is a passionate animal rights advocate, and has been working closely with numerous environmental organizations. She has been the PatronAmbassador of Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival, HRAFF has lasted for a total of 10 years. Isabel is known for her eco-conscious ethical interests, and commitment to tackling social injustice. She was an ambassador for many brands in the fashion and cosmetics campaign.
